Frequently asked questions
Can you maintain a system developed by another company?
Yes. We do a codebase assessment, understand the architecture and business rules, and take over the maintenance. We already maintain systems originally developed by other companies and by internal teams.
How does the maintenance contract work?
We work with two models: monthly hour packages (flexible for varying demands) or fixed monthly fee (predictability for stable systems). Each model has defined SLA for response and resolution.
What is the response time for critical incidents?
It depends on the contracted SLA. Critical incidents typically have up to 4 hours for first response. We have on-call teams for systems that require 24/7 availability.
Do you also do modernization of legacy systems?
Yes. We modernize legacy systems gradually, without stopping operation. We refactor code, migrate to new technologies, improve performance, and update architecture.
How is communication done during maintenance?
We use dedicated channels (Slack, Teams, or equivalent), ticket system for request management, and periodic reports. You have visibility of what's being done and the backlog.
Can I request new features in maintenance?
Yes, this is what we call evolutionary maintenance. New features are sized and prioritized together with fixes and improvements. You decide what's most important each cycle.
